St. Mary Parish Vocation Ministry strives to make the parish family "vocation conscious". God calls each of us to fullness of life. We need to respond to this call by choosing a vocation that expresses our love of God in the world.
The committee strives to raise awareness about the various Catholic Vocations: to the priesthood, the diaconate, and to the religious, married and single life.

A practical way to encourage families to pray together is to offer parishioners the tools. A VOCATION CRUCIFIX PROGRAM has been put into ACTION.
In the narthex of church locate a card table where families can sign up one week prior to taking home a package containing a crucifix, a family prayer book and rosary beads. Place the crucifix in a prominent place in your home so that family members are reminded daily to pray together, highlighting prayers for vocations.

By the grace of God, the practice of praying daily as a family will continue after that week. The crucifix is then returned to the narthex. Parents are gifted with the rosary beads, the Family Prayer book and the vocation prayer card.
