Short Description of the Ministry:
Our Music Ministry provides opportunities for children, teens and adults to share their musical and singing talents to praise and worship God. Our music ministry assists our parish community, through sung sacred music, to further enhance our spiritual growth and to encourage our congregation to "full, conscious and active participation" in our worship and liturgical celebrations. St. Mary Parish-Music Ministry
Adult Choir-Rehearses each Thursday Evening in Mary, Mother of God Church, beginning at 7pm for Basses and 7:30pm for everyone else. We sing at Sunday Mass each week; usually at the 10:30am Mass. The Adult Choir is under the direction of Mrs. Doris Ramme, assisted by Mrs. Angela Brummert.

Teen Choir-Rehearses two Sundays a month from 3-4:30pm in Mary, Mother of God Church and lead us in song at the 5pm Sunday Mass once a month. This choir is open to teenagers who sing or play a musical instrument. Mrs. Angela Brummert directs this choir. Please contact her at the rectory office or by email if you are interested in joining this group.

Youth Choir-Is comprised of children in Grades 1-3. We rehearse approximately twice a month on Monday afternoons, from 4-5pm, in Mary, Mother of God Church. This choir sings at the 9am Mass on Sunday Morning once a month. Please contact Mrs. Doris Ramme if you have a child interested in singing with us in the Youth Choir.

Children's Choir-is open to children in Grades 4-7. Rehearsals take place on Monday afternoons from 5-6pm, in Mary, Mother of God Church. The Children's Choir is under the direction of Mrs. Angela Brummert, and sings monthly at the 10:30am Sunday Mass.

We welcome new members to any and all of our choirs. Anyone who is musically gifted with a pleasant singing voice and a desire to lead the congregation in our sung prayer is invited to join us in ministry.
