The work of Renewal is challenging, but exciting! It’s living out the Great Commission Jesus gave his disciples when he ascended into heaven: Go make disciples. The challenge is teaching the faithful what is means to be a disciple of Jesus and what he expects from his disciples.
Let me begin by wishing all our moms a happy Mother’s Day! Our mothers have such a big influence in our lives. My mom passed away when I was just 26 years old and even after all these years, there is still not a day that goes by when I don’t think of her or pray for her soul.

It is with great joy that we welcome back the Franciscan Friars of the Renewal who will lead our Lenten Parish Mission, Moving forward in Jesus our Hope. After a year of facing so many challenges because of the pandemic, fear and anxiety to name a few, this mission will focus on a pathway of moving beyond these challenges anchored in Jesus our Hope.
For almost 24 years, our parish community has been blessed to have Perpetual Eucharistic Adoration on our campus. However, since the pandemic restrictions, we have had only limited Eucharistic Adoration in Mary, Mother of God Church from 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. daily.
Our parish is excited to announce that we will hold a Christmas Super 50/50! I want to thank all the parishioners of Saint Mary, Mother of God Church who helped in selling the Summer 50/50s and the Fall 50/50s. Because of you we had huge grand totals! Congratulations on an amazing job!

During these unprecedented days, our parish, under the vision of our Pastor. Fr. Jeff and the Music Ministry, have been standing to the challenge of bringing the joyful sound of worship and celestial music to our parishioners in every Mass, Holiday and Special Event, in a safe way.
