The Sacred Easter Triduum begins with the Mass of the Lord's Supper on Holy Thursday at 7:30 p,m. This Mass commemorates the night when Jesus instituted the Eucharistic and the priesthood.
At this Liturgy, twelve parishioners will have their feet washed, representing the action of Jesus at the Last Supper when he knelt and washed His disciples feet. At the end of the Mass, there will be a solemn Eucharistic procession from Saint Mary, Mother of God Church to Our Lady of the Most Blessed Sacrament Shrine where the Blessed Sacrament will be reposed until 11:00pm for visitation. (In the event of heavy rain, we will remain in the Church)
I would like to invite all our parish families to attend this very special Liturgy. A special invitation to all our Eucharistic Adorers whose love for our Eucharistic Lord allows our parish the blessing of Perpetual Eucharistic Adoration.
As your pastor, please know that I will remember you and your family at the Mass of the Lord's Supper.
Sincerely in Christ, Father Jeff Kegley Pastor
Ps. The Shrine will close on Wednesday at 10:00pm and Open after the Easter Vigil on Saturday Evening.
Morning Prayer will be prayed at 8:15am on Holy Thursday, Good Friday and 9:00am on Holy Saturday in Mary, Mother of God Church.
