The Director of Institutional Advancement is a highly visible senior leadership role, focusing on enhancing the parish and school’s positive involvement in the service area, resulting in expanded opportunities for faculty, staff and students to increase external visibility, relationships and activities. As an office, Institutional Advancement serves the parish and school by promoting understanding of its people, programs, policies and needs, resulting in securing adequate public and private support essential to the fulfillment of its mission. Core leadership responsibilities include support of initiatives developed in collaboration with Mary Mother of God Church, Saint Mary School, and the Diocese of Trenton. Locally strengthening the parish and school’s role with various private and public entities, and building regional and national relationships with associations, other institutions, and systems. The Director provides strategic and operational oversight. The Director will create a plan and goals that is approved by the Pastor.

Position Title: Supervisor of Maintenance
Reports To: Business Manager

The Supervisor of Maintenance reports to the Business Manager. Each morning the Supervisor will review and discuss the jobs that need to be performed during the day, other than the daily routine jobs.
Ensure that church/school premises and facilities are kept in clean and hygienic condition
Performing routine maintenance around the building such as fixing structural damage, for example, window, door or wall repair
Repairing broken or leaking plumbing to avoid water damage and restore full use of water fixtures. Checking on clogs or other drainage problems
Maintaining the building HVAC equipment in order to keep climate control in the facility functioning properly
Applying preventative measures to the building
Fixing potential safety hazards to avoid injuries
Painting the building when old paint has become faded or chipped
Checking and responding to security and safety issues. Following safety guidelines
Administrative skills for ordering supplies, handling records and scheduling maintenance
Coordinating deliveries from vendors and suppliers
Keeping documents of inspections and problems
Keeping an inventory of cleaning and repair supplies
Organizational and time management skills
Physical strength and dexterity to lift, move and handle equipment
Maintain church/school Grounds and lawns or other outdoor areas in need of maintenance or routine work
Attention to detail to ensure that all jobs are completed in an exemplary manner and any potential hazards or warning signs of problems are not overlooked
Train and supervise employees of the maintenance department
Must have a Black seal license.
Must have a driver’s license.
