Saint Mary Chapel named a Diocesan Shrine

With praise and thanksgiving to Almighty God, I am pleased to announce that today, September 1, 2022, The Most Reverend David M. O'Connell, Bishop of Trenton, promulgated the statutes establishing the old Saint Mary Church/Chapel as a Diocesan Shrine under the title of Our Lady of the Most Blessed Sacrament. 

This Diocesan Shrine will be a place of pilgrimage, perpetual adoration, prayer, and devotion.

Bishop O'Connell will preside at Holy Mass and the Dedication of the Shrine on Sunday, October 16, 2022 at 10:00am in Saint Mary, Mother of God Church. It would be a great honor to our parish community if you can join us in at this celebration.

I would like to invite all our parishioners, friends and neighbors to become a Eucharistic Adorer at Our Lady of the Most Blessed Sacrament Shrine by www.stmarychurchnj.org/adoration.
