Congratulations to Hank Pekarsky!

Each year the Catholic Men for Jesus Christ Committee presents the “Champion of Faith Award” to an outstanding Catholic man who exhibits great love for the Catholic Faith by his public witness and in service to the Church by advancing the Kingdom of God. 

We are proud to announce that the Catholic Men for Jesus Christ Committee has selected Saint Mary, Mother of God Church very own,
Hank Pekarsky as the recipient of the 2020 Champion of Faith Award. 

The Committee has been absolutely amazed with Hank’s selfless service to the Church, in giving countless hours and using his many talents in a volunteer capacity as the parish business manager, chairman of the summer and fall Saint Mary Fairs, school board and parish finance member and so much more. 

Hank actively participates in That Man is You! (TMIY!) and serve as an Extraordinary Minister. In awarding this prestigious Champion of Faith Award to Hank Pekarsky, it is the committee’s hope that all Catholic Men will be inspired by his example and offer their time, talent and treasure in the service and mission of the Church. 

Congratulations Hank, we are all so proud of you and grateful for your service to Saint Mary Parish.
