A Joyful Celebration of Faith: Recap of the Sacrament of Confirmation

Father Jeff Kegley, blessing the Confirmandi during the Renewal of Baptismal Promises.

Yesterday was truly a blessed day for our parish community as we gathered to celebrate the Sacrament of Confirmation during two beautiful Services at 9:30 AM and 11:30 AM. It was a day filled with grace, joy, and the presence of the Holy Spirit, as our Confirmandi received this profound gift of faith.

Among those confirmed were members of the Saint Mary School Class of 2024. We are incredibly proud of each and every one of you for reaching this significant milestone in your spiritual journey. Your commitment to deepening your relationship with Christ is an inspiration to all of us, and we pray that you continue to grow in faith, courage, and love.

The Sacrament of Confirmation is a powerful moment when the Holy Spirit descends upon the Confirmandi, filling them with the gifts needed to live out their faith in the world. Through the laying on of hands and the anointing with Sacred Chrism, each Confirmand was sealed with the Holy Spirit, strengthening them to boldly witness to Christ in their daily lives.

We extend our heartfelt congratulations and blessings to all the Confirmandi and their families. May the Holy Spirit guide you, enlighten you, and empower you as you continue on this beautiful journey of faith. As you step forward with renewed grace, we pray that you always feel the love and support of our parish family surrounding you.

Please join us in continuing to pray for these newly confirmed young men and women, asking God to bless them with a life of discipleship, compassion, and unwavering faith.

Congratulations again to all our Confirmandi!
