Rosary Altar Society
The Rosary Altar Society of Saint Mary, Mother of God Church is an organization dedicated to honoring and praising the Blessed Virgin Mary. Their main goal is to secure her patronage through the recitation of the Rosary, benefiting all members worldwide. The society goes above and beyond their mission by actively contributing to various charitable causes. They care for the church's linens, donate to multiple charities, and even sponsor a Life Teen member to attend The Steubenville Conference.
Additionally, they have provided chalices for Mass, supported BirthRight through an annual baby shower, and last year, they purchased Christmas gifts for a charter school. This year, they are introducing a scholarship program. Meetings take place on the first Sunday of every month after the 9 am Mass in the Bulman Center, and anyone can attend. For further information, feel free to contact Susan Rector-Collins at 732-500-4034.
Jr. Rosarian Group
We have a Jr. Rosarian group that is open to anyone over the age of 10 and whose parent is a member. The Jr. Rosarians make rosary beads for the vets and the ill. They also hold bake sales to purchase food gift cards that are donated to charity. Last December, they assembled over 150 care packages with personal supplies, which were delivered to the homeless.
