Preparing for the Sacrament of Marriage
Marriage is a covenant between a woman and a man committing them to live with one another in a bond of married love which was established by God. Your wedding liturgy is a very special event. Guidelines were carefully planned to help make your wedding the beginning of the beautiful Sacrament that matrimony is.
In the Sacrament of Marriage, God consecrates the love between two people and makes it grace-filled. The marriage bond reflects Christ's commitment to the Church and is a lifetime commitment. Couples anticipating marriage at Saint Mary Church should contact Victoria Masluk the Parish Secretary at (732) 671-0071 ext 222, to reserve the Church and to ensure that a year's time is allowed for Pre-Cana preparation.
To allow ample time for preparation, please contact the parish office at least one year before the intended wedding date. Weddings are held at 1:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays, for registered parishioners only.
