The Sacrament of Reconciliation
Reconciliation is the sacrament in which sins committed after Baptism are forgiven. It results in reconciliation with God and the Church.
Children enrolled in our Religious Education program or a student of Saint Mary School typically receive the Sacrament of Reconciliation for the first time in Second Grade.
If you would like to prepare for First Reconciliation of an older child, are an adult who would like to prepare for the Sacrament, or would like more information, please contact Jackie Ross at (732) 671-2115 or email at rcia.stmarymog@gmail.com.
While not the same thing as confession, Spiritual Direction is also offered to help you guide and deepen your spiritual life.
The Sacrament of Reconciliation/Confession is celebrated in Saint Mary, Mother of God Church
Saturday: 1:00 - 2:00pm
Thursday: 3:30 to 4:30 pm
For Reconciliation by Appointment, please contact the Parish Office at (732) 671-0071 x221 to schedule reconciliation with a priest.
